Click here to view all obituariesMy name is Marc Neves and I worked at CSC as did Joe though we were in different consulting groups. He and I traveled together weekly for an extended period of time in the early 2010s to Dayton, OH from Houston, TX. He was working on an SAP project at Wright Patterson AFB and I was working on an Infor project at Premier Health Partners. I live in Austin and would meet up weekly with him while connecting Sundays in the Houston airport and Thursdays on the return at the Dayton airport. We would have an adult beverage and, generally, give each other a hard time about all manner things. We flew these small regional Continental jets and one time we had to "rebalance" the plane which required him moving from the front of the plane to the rear. I always sat in the exit row so i gave him a rash about it as he was passing by and he "tackled" me in my seat! LOL. Another time our flight to Dayton got canceled and we were re-routed to Cleveland only to have our Dayton flght there be overbooked so we rented a car and got to spend several hours of quality highway time driving to Dayton. ;-) There was another time when our Sunday night flight got canceled and I spent the night with him at his house in north Houston. I stayed in the twins room and recall there was a painting of a forest fire on the wall. I'll never forget it as I thought it was so unique and never thought of why someone would paint a fire. Joe was fun. I loved him as friend and always enjoyed our weekly meet ups. I will miss him and his great sense of humor and my condolences go out to all of his family members.
