He enjoyed driving around on the Kubota exploring and looking for pine hearts with his dogs, grandbabies and anyone else who was along for the ride. Joe and Kyle built a 20x20 back porch that he used as his office when he was at the farm which is where he preferred to be and While on several conference meeting calls, the local cows would voice their opinion. In his later years, Joe transitioned from hunting and eating the deer to feeding them. He was often excited to see the deer and raccoon's while getting pictures of them on the game camera. He loved sports, music and America. Most of all, Joe loved spending time with his family and friends.
Everywhere Joe went he left an impression on the hearts and minds of everyone he crossed paths with. His stature was as strong as the red oak and his mind as wise as an old owl, as he always said; “I am a jack of all trades but a master of none”. Joe was as stubborn as a bull but man, was he a proud and patriotic man. Joe was proud to call every single one of you; family, friends, and coworkers. He was proud to call you apart of his life. He loved so passionately, even if he was a little ornery sometimes. But, what was certain, is that you knew you could always count on him because he was generous to a fault, Each goofy dance paired with an Eric Church song, riding on something with four wheels, or sitting around the fire made up the man we all loved. Joe will forever live in our hearts as a beautiful multi-faceted man who will now be there watching over us as our angel until we can one day meet again.
