I knew Scott through Brenda, Grant and his visits to the Studio. Because we were both in the marketing/advertising field, we seemed to slide into an easy friendship of jokes and the occasional meme. A while back, I was laid off and was struggling with my portfolio. I asked Scott if he would take a look at it which immediately agreed to do. He was very kind in his critique and gave me some valuable advice that I incorporated and landed the role I was up for the following week. Scott always seemed like a funny, helpful and genuinely good guy - in the truest sense of these words. The world will miss his insights and positive influence.
