Eva Joyce Eoff, 78, of Porter, Texas received her wings on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

She was born December 2, 1945 to Lillie Jewel (Cummings) and John Carmen Jackson in Houston, Texas.

Eva's mother passed when she was three years old. Her sisters, Betty Sue Dillard and Edna Faye Poindexter would help care for her along with her father. She was later placed at DePelchin Children's Center in Houston, Texas.

She was married to Thomas Walter Eoff for fourty years until his passing in 2007. They had three daughters; Yevette Donnell Gilbert, Karon Marie Miller & Katherine Jewel MacFarlane.

Eva quit school when Yevette and Karon was born and obtained her GED. She later went to nursing school at Lonestar College when Katherine was in High School. She received her LVN licensure and started her career at a nursing home. She eventually moved to Harris County Medical Department, then to HealthSouth as a rehab nurse for fifteen years.

Eva leaves to cherish her daughters; Yevette Donnell Gilbert (Mickey), Karon Marie Miller (David), & Katherine Jewel MacFarlane (Daniel), grand children; Thomas Kevin Gilbert, Meagan Mae Bates, Austin Dee Gilbert, Tiffany Guidry, Stephanie Miller, David Miller & Anna Marie MacFarlane, great grandkids; Brooke Bates, Fallon Bates, Avery Gilbert, Sean Guidry, Sophie Guidry, Stacy Williams, Brylie Alpha, Bentley Alpha, Michael Alpha, Trey (David) Miller, & Tyler Miller and one great-great grandkid Waylen Bates
