Daniel Stephen Smith, age 31, of Humble, Texas passed away May 7, 2023 at his home. Daniel was born on January 9, 1992 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and was a graduate of Atascocita High School.

Daniel is survived by his children, Daniel Hutchinson ‘Hutch’, Margaret Jane ‘Janie’ and Madilyn Laraine ‘Maddie’ of Humble, Texas; his father Stephen and step-mother Jennifer Smith of Kingwood, Texas; his mother Karin O’Rourke of Humble, Texas; his brothers Austin, Ryan and Kevin Smith of Kingwood, Texas; grandparents Herbert and Patricia Smith of Irondale, Alabama and Carolyn O’Rourke of Humble, Texas; the mother of his children Heather Stow of Humble, Texas, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved so dearly.

Daniel had a passion for the outdoors – fishing, hunting and playing golf. He also loved to grill steaks and watch Alabama football with his dad. Above all, Daniel loved spending quality time with his children. His infectious smile and warm hugs will be sorely missed be all.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, May 18 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, Texas for a visitation beginning at 10:00am, followed by a funeral service led by Deacon Tony Cardella of St. Martha Catholic Church
