Gay Dell DeLuish (Robbins)
Gay DeLuish passed away April 9, 2023, leaving a legacy of love, kindness and dedication. Born on September 15,1952 to Wayne and Connie Robbins, Gay was raised in a loving family in Humble Texas. She went on to work at the FBI until the birth of her only daughter Misha DeLuish.
Gay was a devoted wife to Kenneth DeLuish for 43 years, and they shared a love that will continue to be cherished. As a mother she always put the needs of her daughter first and she was a shining example of what it meant to be a caring parent.
Gay was also blessed with a twin sister Joy Robbins, who remained a lifelong source of strength, laughter and companionship. She was also survived by her two brothers Bob and Bill Robbins, who shared her love of family and valued their bond that lasted a lifetime.
In addition to her immediate family, Gay was blessed with four grandchildren, the twins Rika and Mikhail Witt, Meagan DeLuish, and Robert W Gammon V, her stepsons Mike and Troy DeLuish, as well as her daughter-in-law Darchele DeLuish and Michael Pattison who brought immense happiness into her life.
Throughout her time on earth, Gay was known for her vibrant personality, infectious smile, and deep compassion for others. She was a skilled cook and an adventurer, who traveled the world with her loved ones. Her love for life inspired everyone she met.
Gay will be forever remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, loyal sister, adoring grandmother, and cherished friend. Her memory will live on through her loved ones who are left with her legacy of her kindness and love.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate her life. The family has asked that the flowers are sent to Rosewood Funeral home, located at 2602 South Houston Ave., Humble, Texas 77396.
Rest in peace Gay; you will be deeply loved and missed by all those who were blessed enough to have known you.
The viewing and visitation for family will be held from 4pm to 5 pm on Monday, April 17, 2023. Visitation for friends will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Monday as well. Services will be held at the Rosewood chapel at 2602 south Houston Ave Humble, Texas 77396, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Following the service, the body will be laid to rest Brookside cemetery.
