Obituary for Jessie Lorane Hall (Eckhardt)

Jessie was born in Mena, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her two husbands Joseph Andrew Hallford and the love of her life Eldon Neal Hall, her mother Lora Lee Jones Eckhardt Chambers and her father Glen West Eckhardt.

She is survived by her five children, Patricia Hallford Brumley, Katherine Hallford Wilson, James Eldon Hall, Joe Dean Hallford and Carolyn Hall Donnell. Thirteen grand children, great grandchild, and 2 great great grand children.

Jessie and Eldon were loving parents and had many people who claimed them as parents. Jessie lloved to sew land work as a seamstress for many years. She loved to create and make quilts but that was not her only accomplishment. She was valedictorian of her graduating class.

She worked during WWII in an airplane factory making wings for the airplanes. She raised five children to value education and each are college graduates. She loved music of all kinds and taught them to appreciate all kinds. Her favorite was country music. She loved to dance with Elton and their favorite song was "Waltz Across Texas".

A Memorial Service will be held in Uvalde, Texas n November 11, 2023 to celebrate her life.
