Ramiro L.  Pequeno
Ramiro L. Pequeño of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully at the age of 93, surrounded by family on Friday November 18, 2022, at his home. The Viewing and Rosary will be on Monday, November 21, at 6 P.M. at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 South Houston Ave., Humble, at 1 P.M.
Services at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11 A.M. followed by Internment at Rosewood Memorial Park, 2602 South Houston Ave., Humble, at 1 P.M.
Ramiro was born in New Gulf, Texas, on September 3, 1929, to Jose and Francisca Pequeño. He enlisted into the United States Army on the 2nd of October 1952 and served in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in February of 1955. He married Gloria Celestia Zamora on the 8th of April 1956 in McAllen, Texas and settled in Houston, Texas.
Ramiro is survived by his wife Gloria, daughters, Veronica Mabasa (Anthony), Rosie Jasso, America Milligan, and Cecilia P. Gaitán, and sons, Luis Gerardo (Marisela), and Robert (Angela). Grandchildren, Anthony John Paul Mabasa (Sotana), Alyssa, Mila, Anthony Immanuel, Antoinette Hurt (Matthew) Denise, Cayleb, Kamryn, Angela Chagoya, (Chris), Andrew Joseph Jasso (Sydney), Kanaan, Kieran, Aaron Jasso (Amanda) Candyce, Coreyann, Cimberleigh, Christabella, Benjamin and Ava. Adam Jasso (Meliza), Leonela, Atalia and Adam Jr. Gabriela Sturdy (Robert), Ricardo Pequeño, Luis Ronaldo Pequeño, Robert Joseph Pequeño, Zoe Pequeño. Trevor Milligan (Veronica) Jonas Milligan. Marcus Gaitán, Matthew Gaitán, Jeremy Gaitán and Joshua Gaitán along with countless extended family and friends. Ramiro was preceded in death by his oldest son, Sergio.
