Barbara Gail Ryals, Age 55 of Porter, Tx passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Barbara was born September 28, 1966, in Kankakee, Illinois, a daughter of the late Billy Curtit and Margarette “Dixie” Fowler. Barbara was a 1984 graduate of Linn High School and a 2003 graduate of Sam Houston State University. On April 23, 1988, Barbara was united in marriage to Alton Ryals Jr. in Linn, Missouri.
Barbara was a dedicated educator with a heart for those who needed help. Loved by all those around her she wanted everyone to “Believe”. Believe in themselves and their abilities.
Survivors include husband Alton Ryals Jr., two daughters, Cami Ryals of Kingwood, and Afton Ryals of Kingwood; one granddaughter, Madalyn “Maddy” Ryals of Kingwood, one son, Jesse Ryals of Kingwood, three siblings, brother Michael Keith Curtit and his wife Karen of Holts Summit; two sisters, Jean Louise Curtit and her husband Robert Voss of Jefferson City, Jo Ann and her husband Duane Scott of Holts Summit, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Public memorial service in “casual attire” will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, Texas.
