Obituary for
Bibi Naima Thompson (Bakhsh)
On June 1st, 2021, at her home in Atascocita, Texas, Mrs. Bibi Naima Thompson completed her work here on this earth and joined the countless family members that have passed on and our Heavenly Father on the other side of the veil. Bibi was fifty-seven years of age.
Bibi Naima Bakhsh was born in Annandale, Guyana, South America, on May 17th, 1964, to Norma Felix and Azeez Bakhsh. Bibi is the second oldest of seven daughters and spent her childhood in Guyana with family and friends, including Clifford Thompson. Clifford and Bibi were sealed for time and all eternity in the Dallas, Texas temple on February 13th, 1993, and were blessed to share forty years of marriage on this earth. During this time, Bibi and Clifford would again be blessed with two sons.
At the age of fifteen, Bibi emigrated with her parents and six sisters to the United States to pursue additional education and career endeavors that landed them in the heartland of Oklahoma, specifically the city of Tulsa. Bibi, Clifford, and their son, Brian, would later move to Houston, where their son, Chase, would eventually be born.
Bibi is survived by her husband Clifford; sons Brian and Chase; sisters Christine Edwards of Katy, Texas; Zaida Taylor of Lewisville, Texas; Allison Miller of Lewisville, Texas; Vanessa Bakhsh of Lewisville, Texas; Ramona Retzlaff of Richmond, Texas; and Shabeena Bakhsh of Houston, Texas, and their spouses Maddison Thompson, Karlie Thompson, Barney Edwards, Augustine Jimenez, Greg Miller, and Shane Retzlaff. The love and joy of Bibi’s life were her grandchildren Lianola Kathryn, Baker Clarence Aleki, Rooney Norma, and Clinton Roy. She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Bakhsh, and her father, Azeez Bakhsh.
Bibi was often surrounded with love, joy, and gratitude from her family and friends throughout her life. Because of that, Bibi exuded those traits to all those that she interacted with, which would serve her well as she trailblazed an illustrious work-from-home career in the medical field. After retiring, Bibi devoted much of her time to developing and nurturing life-long friendships and relationships with her grandchildren. Through her selflessness, fierce devotion, grace, and unique mindset to believe in the simple things that life has to offer, Bibi was a godsend to all who knew her.
