Obituary for David Glenn Sanders

David Glenn Sanders
David Glenn Sanders, 73, of Deer Park, Texas passed away on December 31, 2020. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

David was born on October 19, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Glenn and Oneta Sanders. After attending Jesse H. Jones High School he went on to the University of Houston and later served in the Army National Guard with the Airborne Division. David was a very skilled artist at a very young age and talented draftsman as an architect developing some of the early flood plans and neighborhoods in Houston. He had a terrific sense of humor and enjoyed laughing. David always had a passion for cars, jewelry, Polo shirts and had a great collection of shoes. He spent his free time enjoying Houston sports teams, movies of all kind (even the terrible ones that nobody would watch) and most of all loved spending time with his family.

David is survived by his best friend and wife Debbie, daughter Tara Christman (Richard), son Matthew Sanders (Angie), son Chris Sanders (Melissa), daughter Stacy Madecki (Frank), and son Jamie Griffin (Jenny). He was the very proud Pawpaw to Brooklyn, Lance, Dylan, Evan, AJ and Emma.

Visitation for David Sanders will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas on January 11, 2021 from 12pm-2pm and Memorial service to follow.
