Luis Antonio Trevino
It is with great sadness that the family of Luis Antonio Trevino announce his sudden passing on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 42. Luis was a resident of Humble, Texas and was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 7, 1978. He graduated from Cypress Falls High School and the Independent Electrical Contractor Program (IEC) obtaining his journeyman electrician license. Throughout his 20-year career as a foreman and service technician he met many of his close friends who were like family to him. Luis was married to his wife and best friend Jamie Trevino for 17 years and had one son who was the light of his life. He was a loyal husband and father who cherished every moment with Jamie and Ryan. Luis grew up with a love for family and the belief that family always comes first. He loved all of his many nieces and nephews who proudly called him Uncle Luey. Luis loved the Texans football team and Notre Dame football. He was a dedicated fan of the Houston Texans and loved tailgating with family and friends. He loved cooking with Ryan and passing along his recipes. He loved going on vacation with family on many cruises to a host of different countries.
Luis is survived by his wife, Jamie Trevino; son Ryan Trevino; his mother Olga Trevino; sister, Brenda (Alex) Escobar; brothers Julio (Dayna) Trevino, Daniel Trevino; nephews, Seth Trevino, Adrian Trevino, Gabriel Trevino and Alejandro Escobar; nieces, Victoria Escobar, Marissa Escobar, Lisette Escobar, Veronica Trevino, Karina Trevino and a host of family and friends. Luis is preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Trevino. Luis will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. The visitation and funeral service will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home – Atascocita. Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10:00 am with burial to follow.
