Condolence From: Coach Mike
Condolence: I just learned of Doug’s passing today. I and Pershing Lacrosse would like to send our deepest condolences to Emily and the family. In all my years as head coach for Pershing Lacrosse only one person has come forward and insisted he help out and that of course is Coach Doug. The first day Emily joined the team he was there with stick in hand. His help made my life so much easier. Even after the cancer hit and he was in treatment he refused to stop helping and told me that he would help for as long as he could stand. That is what I call true dedication to your daughter and team. All of us at Pershing Lacrosse are going to miss you Coach Doug but we know you’ll always be guiding us on the field.

Our deepest sympathy and heart felt sorry for the loss of Doug. If you had a choice of friends in your life, it would be Doug. He was a gentle giant. Gentle in demeanor and a Giant in personality, character and soul. His smile and warmth will always be held in our hearts and memory.
