Obituary for
Alma Cathryn Stacy
Alma Stacy; “Nana,” passed away on 11/21/19 at the age of 100 in Spring, Texas. She was born on 4/9/19 to Frank Keno and Fanny F. Davis. She will finally rejoice in joining her son and daughter, as she leaves behind 4 grand children; Tracey Hicks, Wayne Hicks, Brandy Stacy, Joshua and Lorena Stacy, along with 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, other family and friends including her last surviving brother, Dink.
Alma was a lover of birds and family. She was proud of her Chickasaw Indian Heritage and loved the outdoors. She was known to love a good beer in her younger years and was addicted to Popeye’s chicken in her later.
Her only employment has been cleaning. She worked at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for many years as a custodian and that cleaning spirit trickled into her home life. Everything had its place. She washed dishes and did laundry to keep busy everywhere she visited.
Known to all as simply “Nana,” she loved football (Tom Brady). She loved her bible and read it daily. She was immensely loved and will be missed by all.
