Mary F. Miranda, age 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2019 in her home. She was born in Nacogdoches, TX on April 2, 1932 and will be laid to rest by her family in Humble, TX on Tuesday, October 15th.

Mary worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years as a chef in the food services area for both Doctors Hospital and Parkway Hospital. She easily made friends with the doctors, nurses, and patients alike. Her friendly smile and kind heart helped her to build life-long friendships with those she worked with and for. She took great pride in what she did but was happy to retire and start a new adventure with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children; Buddy, Peggy, Danny, Arthur, Teresa, Patricia, and Freddy as well as her brother Junior and sister Billie. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Vicente B. Miranda, her parents; Isabel and Mamie Bosque, her sisters, Margaret and Barbara Ann, and her brother Lee Roy.
She was a devoted wife and mother. Mary and Vicente were married for over 61 years. They built a good life and strong family together. One of her most favorite things was spending time with her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Whether it was as a big group for holidays and birthdays or one at a time for a quick lunch, she was always happy to be with her family.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home located at 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble, TX 77396. The visitation will be Monday, October 14, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm. A Rosary service will be held at 6pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 2pm
