Obituary for John Lee Baldwin

JOHN LEE BALDWIN

Announcement

John L. Baldwin, age 51 passed away on July 24, 2019 in Shenandoah, Texas. He was born on
July 27, 1967 in Atlanta, Georgia to Ben and Carolyn Baldwin. John had 4 beautiful children that
he considered his greatest accomplishments.

John worked tirelessly in Fire and EMS over a decorated career that spanned over two
decades. His unparalleled knowledge and professionalism propelled his career to the pinnacle
of the paramedic profession. He dedicated his life to the health and well being of others. John
saved countless patients and touched the lives of so many more. Over the years, he built strong
friendships and mentored many of the incoming generation of medics who still practice today.
John had a loving soul, and he never met a stranger. His humor and smile could illuminate a
room in an instant. He will forever be in each and every one of our hearts.

John is preceded in death by his father Ben C. Baldwin, his grandparents, John S. Baldwin and
Alma O. Baldwin, and Lee and Pauline Cross.

He is survived by his mother Carolyn Baldwin-Taylor, his children, Kyle, Trevor, Katie, and Lane,
their mothers, Gayla Bowden and April Currie, his two grandchildren, Makylee and Avery, his
sister Kim Frederick, nephews Joey and Jake and an abundance of special friends.
The celebration of life for John will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 at Rosewood Funeral Home
in Humble, Texas. Visitation will be held 10 am followed by the service at 12 pm.
