Condolence: I lost my grandparents before I was out of elementary school. I met Skyla in 4th grade and we were instant best friends. I met Meme and Papaw and they were instant grandparents to me. They took me in and treated me no different than Skyla and Jordyn. At Meme and Papaws house, I felt like I was safe and loved. We spent summers with them, got ready for church camp there. Weekends, holidays, birthdays, you name it. I had a real loving family with them. In HS when I had no where to go, Aunt Terry, Meme and Papaw made sure I had a place to rest my head. My best memories of my childhood were with the Rodgers family. My family. I am so saddened that Meme has passed but I know without a doubt where she is now. She is a selfless angel that loved everyone. Rest In Peace Meme, I love you more than I can truly express.
