Life Story for
Billy Don Tidwell
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Billy Don Tidwell. On the morning of February 13th, 2019, Billy passed away in his sleep due to natural causes.
Billy was born in Atlanta, Ga. on August 30th, 1947, but spent most of his life in Texas. He graduated from Aldine High School, and shortly there after enlisted in the military. He was an Honorable Discharged Sargent in the United States Marine Corps for 3 years serving 2 tours in Vietnam. He had many maritime accommodations during his service career. Billy also had a long successful career in the corrugated box manufacturing section of industry. His hard work in this field eventually brought him to own a successful company with many employees up until his retirement.
Billy is survived by his son, Jason Tidwell, and two daughters, Jennifer McCullam, Jessica Tidwell. He has five grandchildren (all girls) , Alexia and Adilene Tidwell, Reese, Tatum, and Autumn McCullam. He is also survived by his older brother Tim Tidwell and Tim's wife Hazel Tidwell, and Billy's younger sister Brenda Brown and her husband Richard Brown. He was predeceased by his parents Hiram Warner and Mary Beatrice Tidwell and youngest brother Richard Tidwell.
Memorial service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery . This is scheduled for March 15, 2019 at 2:30pm The address for Houston National Cemetery is 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, Texas 77038. His family asks for prayers for love and guidance from the Lord during their time of loss.
