Dorothy Nell Shelton, of Humble, Texas, passed away November 15, 2018 in her home. She was born July 18, 1926, in Camp Worth, Texas, to Ruby and John Henry Branch, but moved with her family to Humble in 1941. She loved Humble, Humble High School, particularly her classmates of 1944, and golf. She was an officer of Humble State Bank for many years, and was honored to be involved in the founding of the new Northeast Hospital. She was predeceased by her husbands, J.C. Austin, in 1977, and William F. Shelton, in 1998, and by her sister Jeannine Daniel, in 2017. She is survived by her brother, Herbert Branch, of Woodville TX, her son, Mark Austin and his wife, Mary Ann Austin, her granddaughter, Johanna Morgan and her husband Hunter Morgan, and their three children, all of Alpharetta, GA, and her grandson, Jeremy C. Austin, and his wife Tian Austin, and their three children, of Bloomington, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
