Barbara Helen Harran
October 3, 1935 - November 9, 2018
On November 9, 2018, Barbara Helen Harran entered into eternal rest. Barbara was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from West Catholic High School. She married the love of her life, John W. Harran and remained married for 64 years, until his death. Barbara tirelessly and lovingly raised six children. She was the biggest fan for anything her children participated in. She taught her children about faith, love and the importance of family as well as many other life lessons. She became “Deed” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and showered them with unconditional love. They in return adored their “Deed”. Barbara Helen Harran was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Although the family will never again be whole, we are comforted knowing there is no more pain. Barbara is survived by her children Helene Charles and husband Art, Patricia Doyle, Barbara Brown and husband Bobby, Kathleen Harran, Joanne Pike and husband Ron, John P. Harran and wife Debbie; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; her sister, Florence Scott and husband John and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Harran, her parents George and Helen (Rittenhouse) Hare, sister, Cecelia Rauscher, brother, George Hare and son-in-law, William Doyle.
