Joseph “Joe” Preston Buchanan, 61, peacefully passed away Saturday July 28, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He was born October 1, 1956 to Bobby Lloyd and Lena Buchanan. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lynda Ragusa Buchanan; by his sons, Andrew Buchanan, Alex Buchanan and wife April, and Adam Buchanan; by his grandson, Vincent Buchanan; by his brother, Jim Buchanan and wife Lisa, and by many loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Lloyd and Lena Buchanan; and by his brother, John Buchanan. He was a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School, and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for many years as a Project Control Manager. He enjoyed playing golf and dedicated himself to coaching Humble Baseball for 26 years.
