Michael Howard Roudebush
Michael Howard Roudebush passed away January 11,2018 surrounded by loved ones. He was born April 30, 1954 in Canton, Ohio.
Preceded in death by wife Cindy, and father Jack Roudebush. Survivors include mother Barbara and husband, Rev. Fred Carter of Montgomery. Brother Jerry Roudebush and wife Linda of Austin. Sisters Donna Worley and husband Matt of Round Rock, Linda Andersen of Katy. Nephews Scott Roudebush and wife Michelle and great niece Penny Rose of Dallas. Doak Worley and wife Lexie of Austin. Nieces Elise and Nikky Anderson of Katy. He will be missed by many relatives and friends.
Mike was a graduate of Deer Park High School in 1972. He was owner of ‘Rowdy’s Lawn Service and Tractor Works’. In his early years he was a Boy Scout and enjoyed youth sports and the outdoors. He attained a sharp shooter badge with the NRA. Mike was a Lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, volunteering for a number of years. He was a member of Cleveland Bass Club, and numerous other associations. He loved to hunt and fish. His love for animals resulted in the development of CMR Farms where he raised miniature donkeys. Mike always had humorous stories to tell on himself. For example: the snake in the washing machine!
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held February 10, 2018 at 2:00PM at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, Tx. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163 (a charity dear to his heart) or a charity of your choice.
