Obituary for Gary Wayne Wiley

Gary Wayne  Wiley
WILEY, GARY WAYNE, beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend died April 5, 2017 at the age 65. Gary was born on October 11, 1951, the oldest of three children. He grew up in Detroit and Warren, Michigan. Following graduation from high school in 1969, Gary answered his country’s call and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam era. After his Honorable Discharge from Marine Corps, he returned to Michigan and later to the Houston area where he worked as a long distance truck driver and made lifelong friends who will miss his loving, kind, affable and humorous personality. Gary is survived by his son, Garrett Wiley, sister, Sharon Thornton, brother Ronald Wiley, parents, Elmer and Dorothy Wiley, a multitude of friends and a country appreciative of his faithful service in the U.S. Marine Corps. Visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 S. Houston, Humble, Texas on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with graveside services at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017.
