Obituary for
Edith "Faye" Cunningham (Langley)
Today we mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Edith Faye Cunningham. Faye came into this world April 26, 1934 in Jones County, MS. She left this world on May 15, 2015 at 11:15pm. She went peacefully into the night after spending several days with her family and loved ones.
Faye was preceded in death by her mother, Eunice Mondel Langley and father Sylvester Langley. Her husband Richard Everett Cunningham went to be with the lord in 2002. Faye also had several brothers and sisters who went home before her to help prepare for her place in Heaven.
Faye is survived by her brothers Samuel Langley and Jackie Langley as well as many nieces and nephews. Faye is also survived by her children Connie Robinson and Tommy Cunningham; granddaughters Mindy Bonin, Jesslyn Ivey, and Mary Robinson and great grandchildren Shelby Quinn, Brant Quinn, Jordan Alloway, Kristinee Hamilton and Kyler Hamilton. Faye had one great great grandchild, Mckenley Hesse.
During her lifetime she adopted many other "children" including Mary Lynch, Jimmy Quinn, and Cody Quinn. Her home and heart were alway open for anyone who needed her. Faye was a lover of life, nature, and adventure. Faye worked for Conroe ISD as a school bus driver for 14 years. She loved every minute of the job and the children that came along with it.
Her life will be celebrated on Monday, May 17th 2015 at Rosewood Funeral home in Humble TX at 2pm. There will be a small viewing that same day starting at 12noon before the service. Honored to serve as pallbearers is Cody Quinn, Jimmy Quinn, Brant Quinn, Aaron Bonin, Donny Langley and Mickey Brown.
