Harold Glenn Luna
Harold Luna of Willis, TX was born in Blue Ridge, TX to Carl Monroe and Zeffie Verlyne {Bass} Luna on February 18, 1930. He was the oldest of 8 children. He went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 19, 2018.
Harold loved gospel music and played just about every stringed instrument there is. Although a machinist by trade, he played for the North Central Church worship team for more than 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Helen; by his grandson, Glenn Ray Luna, Jr. {G.R.}; by his parents; by his brothers, Carl, Marvin, and Charles; and by his sister, Barbara. Harold is survived by his son, Glenn Ray and wife Debbie Luna; by his daughter, Vicki and husband Ted Cunningham; by grandchildren, Paul Douglas Luna, Lisa Walton and Tori Cunningham; by great-granddaughter, Leslee Lewis; by sisters, Wanda Huie, Joyce and husband Louis Woodward, Ruth and husband Bill Senne; uncle, Richard Verbon Luna, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Harold loved his friends, family, and church family, but he loved our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ more than anything in the world. He will be remembered as a loving, faithful and loyal servant of God. Harold was an endeared member of North Central Church since 1973.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at North Central Church, Spring, TX. The family will receive friends from 5-8 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble, TX on Thursday, May 24th.
