Leland “Stan” Wallace, 74, passed away December 26, 2017. He was born on July 1, 1943 in Pasadena, Texas.
“Stan” is survived by his wife, Leslie Yvonne Wallace; Nephews, Chris and Lisa Carlile, Brandon and Kara Mahand, Barrett Mahand, Bronson Mahand, Henry Bennett, Marvin Bennet Jr.; Sisters-in-Law and Brothers-in-Law, Rosa Mahand, Marlene Sarres and Gerson Sosa Gorham, Peggy Devine, Marvin A. Bennett and Zachary Wallace (Son).
“Stan” went to UT Austin on a Football Scholarship from La Porte HS where he graduated. He was the proudest of having been one of the players. His team picture and a picture when he played at the Houston Game is attached to the website photos. Stan claimed to have had "orange blood". He loved his school and he was a proud Longhorn.
“Stan” was a wonderful person and will be missed by his family and friends.
