Click here to view all obituariesI've known Sandy for over 20 years. What a facinating life he led. For his service to his country, he first joined the Marines, then joined the Air Force, and finally ended up in the Coast Gaurd, where he finally retired as a Chief Petty Officer. But that was'tn enough for Sandy. He had to continue to serve the citizens of Harris Co., and joined the Harris County Constibles office, Prct.3, until recent retirement from there. Sandy was also very interested in the History of Texas. He often said I was'nt born in Texas, but I got here (from New Jersey}, as quick as I could. He was a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol, a Colonel in the Texas Army, & an Admiral in the Texas Navy. In his spare time, he was a Conceled Handgun Instructor, Karate Grand Master, with a PHD in martial arts, an excelent General Contractor, and occasional Big Foot Monster Hunter. What a good friend, and true patriot. He will be missed. - Adm. John W. Martin
