Rosa Ramos Blain was called to be with the Lord on Friday December 19, 2014, at the age of 66. Rosa was born on November 3, 1948 in Stafford, Texas to Narciso and Maria Ramos, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Humberto "Al" Blain, her daughters Angela and husband Hans Schackmann, Michelle Rene and husband Rick Davila, Regina Diane and husband Vince Conde and Mary Frances Cumpian. Nine grandchildren, Danielle Nicole, Nikolaus Erich Schackmann, Allen Ray and wife Elizabeth Cumpian, Anthony Thomas, Alyssa Marie, Amanda Michelle Davila, Dylan Vince, Destiny Victoria Conde and Maiya Alysse Peña. Also survived by her brother Isidore Ramos, sisters Betty Ramos Granados and Rita Ramos and her best friend forever Marty Rivera. She is preceded in death by her brother Narciso Ramos Jr.
Rosa Blain was a loving, sweet, caring and giving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her family but above all she loved her girls (daughters #1 - #4) and her babies (her 9 grandchildren). She enjoyed crocheting blankets for loved ones and finding amazing deals at her favorite resale shop. She loved her music. Her music lived in her heart and she passed that on to everyone around her. On special occasions everyone anxiously awaited her delicious pineapple upside down cake and for Easter the famous Easter bunny cake. She was known to always lend a thoughtful ear and spend countless hours on the phone with family and friends. When leaving a room her concerning nature was evident with these phrases: do you have a sweater, don't forget your jacket it is cold out, be careful and call me when you get home. She will be forever missed and always remembered every day, every hour, every minute by her family and friends.
