Gloria Luna went to heaven on November 23, 2014, at 67 years of age. She was the loving wife of Jesse H. Luna, sharing 40 years of marriage together. Gloria was born in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Jovita and Alfredo A. Fuentes Sr. Gloria was a graduate of Milby high School and worked at Centerpoint Energy for 40 years.

Gloria was a blessing to everyone who knew her. She had an infectious smile, a heart of gold, and a home which was always warm and inviting. Gloria was dedicated to her family: her husband Jesse; her son Andrew; her nephew, Christopher, whom she raised; and her grandchildren - her “beautiful butterflies” and her “little tigers.”

Gloria is predeceased by her father Alfredo A. Fuentes Sr. and her brother Rene` D. Fuentes. She is survived by her husband Jesse H. Luna; her son Andrew Ybarra and his wife Marisa; her nephew Christopher Fuentes; her grandchildren Amanda, Emily, Justin and Matthew Ybarra; her mother Jovita Fuentes; her brother Alfred A. Fuentes and his wife Irene; her sister Olivia F. Alanis and her husband Joe Sr.; her brother Gilbert Fuentes and his wife Carmen; her sister Becky Alanis and her husband Candelario; her brother Rudy Fuentes and his wife Alice; her sister Jackie Nava and her husband Jesse; her sister Elsa Munoz; her brother Adolph Fuentes and his wife Patricia; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 28th , at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77503. The Visitation and Viewing will be held from 1:00-2:00, and the Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2:00-3:00.
