Obituary for Bernardo Morales

Bernardo Morales, 78, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at his home in Humble, Texas. He was born on November 6, 1935 in Puerto Rico to Jose and Conception Morales who both precede him in death. Bernardo was a caregiver of younger siblings during his adolescent years and throughout his adult life. In his young adult life he became an International Chef enjoying his career serving others. This guy loved to cook! At the age of 23 he married his wife, Katie with 3 young children whom he loved as his own. Together he and Katie became Bible students and were baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses. Since 1973 he enjoyed his servitude teaching the Bible to young and old. Benny was an Elder and a full time pioneer, a hospital liason, overseer of the preaching activities, and building committee. He treasured his relationship with his spritual family and others and counted it a privilege in serving Jehovah. He will be missed by many.

Benny is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Katie Morales; children, Frankie Rentas, Carmen Morrow, Jose Lausell, and Martha Morales; numerous other family and a host of loving friends. A visitation will be held in Benny's honor from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 Old Humble Rd., Humble, Texas 77396,
# (281) 441-2171.
