Andres (Andy) Gonzalez was born on May 4, 1971, and was called back to the Lord on April 13, 2014. He was a kind and gentle man, whose loving care and generous spirit will always be remembered.

Andy was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, and friend.

He grew up in Huffman, Texas, where he met the love of his life, Angee. They were married in 1993.

He was a devoted member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

He and Angee began studying martial arts in 1997, and opened their own school in 2000. He achieved the rank of 4th Degree Master in the American Tang Soo Do Association.

He was happiest while serving others, whether teaching karate, volunteering at Oaks Elementary or helping with his son’s Boy Scout Troop.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elias Gonzalez.

He is survived by his wife Angee of 20 years, his four children: Isabella, Harrison, Hudson, and Elena; his mother, Sabina Gonzalez; his brothers, Arnulfo, Daniel, David, Israel, and Alex; his sisters, Cindy Anderson and Angela Escobar; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 527 S. Houston Avenue, Humble, TX 77338 on Tuesday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m.
