Had to share this. Didnt know Coach Curl personally, but his wife was my teacher in 3rd grade and she was one of the greatest teachers I ever had. She let it be known that she would never give up on any of us and showed us she really cared. She used to have her husband come and talk to me because she knew I loved basketball so he and players would come speak to me. I remember thinking he was one of the greatest men in the world because even to a third grader, he gave it to me straight all the time. He let me know what would happen to me one day if I didnt straighten up but he also let me know he would continue checking on my progress and he did. I remember him promising me tickets to a game if I could go two weeks without gettin in trouble. Now I NEVER got those tickets because I couldn't go two days bit as a man of his word he checked on me like he said. My prayers go to Mrs. Curl and her family. This was a great man...
