Obituary for Elbert Lamoine Harrison

Elbert Lamoine Harrison was born on March 3,1939 in Houston, TX to Russell and Lois Harrison. He went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 17,2023.

He worked as a tool grinder at a machine shop to provide for his family for many years. He spent his whole life in the Houston area and was a man of many trades. Did you say wood? He could make you anything you would like! You see Elbert was a loving husband, father, son, brother and grandpa, those were his favorite jobs. If you ever drove down Old Houston Road, then you know Elbert and him out in the yard working or sitting with Copper (his dog) waving at everyone driving by. He will be missed so dearly but we all know he missed his beautiful wife and couldn’t stay anymore.

Elbert leaves behind a son Robert (Debbie) Harrison, grandson Chris (Michelle) Harrison, his sister Wanda Redig, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his Frances Harrison his beautiful wife, mother (Lois), father (Russell), 2 sons (Ricky and Carlton), brother RL, and brother-in-law Don.

The family would like to thank everyone who cared so much for him by visiting, calling, texting and praying. We are grateful we had all these years with him and know he is finally at peace with no pain, no sickness, and is in a better place.
