Obituary for
Elizabeth Domengeaux Williamson
Elizabeth Domengeaux Wiliamson, 66, peacefully left this world May 8, 2023 in the comfort of her family home in Bentwater on Lake Conroe.
Liz was born July 5, 1956 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Adam Roy Domengeaux, Jr. and June Perrodin Domengeaux. The eldest daughter of five siblings, she graduated from Cathedral Carmel High School in 1974 and studied at the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Her memory will live on through her loving husband John Wright Williamson and the Williamson family of Meridian Mississippi, her daughters Elizabeth Lynne Williamson and Sarah Morgan Williamson, the loves of her life, grandchildren Colton Jordan, Aiden McCoy and Riley June Moore, her mother June Perrodin Domengeaux, siblings Cheryl Domengeaux Butcher and husband Deitrich Butcher, Chris Domengeaux, Adam Roy Domengeaux III and a host of adoring nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins and many other loving relatives and friends. We have peace in knowing she is lovingly reunited with our Heavenly Father, as well as her father and sister Karen Domengeaux Wilde.
Over the years Liz & John Wright had the opportunity to explore so many areas of the country being in the oil & gas business and were able to be a part of many communities in Corpus Christi, Denver, The Woodlands, Bentwater and her hometown of Lafayette. Liz had a passion for so many things and inspired many to find a passion and chase it. She had a love for adventure and the water, which was evident in the years she and John Wright spent sailing and later settling in Bentwater on Lake Conroe. She was a constant learner who mastered the art of everything from photography & scrapbooking to interior design. She had a gift for bringing out the beauty in life.
Liz was a wonderful mother and loved and nurtured her children and grandchildren so well. She was a safe haven to many and had a hand in raising so many children.
Services will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park Mausoleum at 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble, TX 77396 on May 19, 2023 at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Memory of Liz Williamson to a charity of your choosing.
