Bruce Henry Ward age 86 passed away peacefully on March 19, 2023. Born in Savannah, Georgia on July 11, 1937. Preceded in death by his parents father Benjamin Grady Ward and mother Gertrude Hille Ward sister Mary Claire Ward Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Rosemary Deluke Ward and son Bruce Michael Ward, Brother Jack Ward & wife Barbara Ward. Brother in-law Frank Deluke & wife Gayla Deluke. Sister in-law Charlene Deluke Several nieces and nephews. Bruce and his brother Jack were partners in the insurance agency Ward Brothers and Associates. Jack retired and Michael became Bruce's partner. Bruce enjoyed helping clients with their insurance needs and became friends with many over the years. He also served in the Texas Air National Guard for 10 years.


A special thank you to the Leukemia team at M D Anderson for the special care that was provided for Bruce for many years. He will be missed.


Bruce is a member of the Lake Houston Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. Past President of Lake Houston Rotary Club. A member of St. Martha's Catholic Church Kingwood, Texas

Visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble, Texas 77396.


Visitation will be from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM; a Rosary will begin at 6:00 PM.


Services will be at St. Martha's Catholic Church on March 23, 2023 at 10:30 A.M.


Graveside services will follow at Rosewood Funeral Home Humble, Texas.
