Our mom Evelyn Newcomb, 90 years old passed away on February 23, 2023 at the home of her son surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 26, 1932, in Asbury Alabama. Evelyn worked for New Caney ISD for 30 years before retiring. Upon moving to New Caney with the family she was just one of several ladies that help start the New Caney/Porter little league ball fields which became a home away from home for the entire family. Evelyn was loved throughout the community for her giving and kind heart. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. She always put others first. To know her was to love her.

Evelyn is survived by her sons Michael, Charles and wife Tina, Mark and wife Leanne. Sisters Voncile Kittle, Francis Gardner, Deborah Jones and brothers Watson McNair, Darrell McNair. Grandchildren Jeffery Newcomb, Lauren Kilgore, Todd Newcomb, Brittany Newcomb, Samantha New. Great Grandchildren Riley, Dakota, Rebekah, Taylor, Kennedy, Abby, Kinsley, Colby, Ashlynn, Rylan, Sky Lyn as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Newcomb, sisters Nina Williams, Sue High, Nancy Anthony and Becky Armstrong.

The graveside service will be held at Grand View Memorial Park located at Pasadena.
