Laura Teska
Ethel was a wonderful mother-in-law and grandmother to my three children. For the 40+ years that I had the pleasure and blessed to have her be a part of our life will never be forgotten. My first great memory was in 1981 spending time in Hawaii with them.
As the years went on, going to New York, in 1984 Ethel came to Connecticut when Christina was born to lend a hand, we enjoyed camping, boating, and barbecues together. Birthdays and holidays were always special to Ethel that she enjoyed spending with her family. Every summer Ethel would have the grandkids during summer break, she enjoyed having them, and till this day my son talks about it
When I lived in Connecticut, as a joke, I would send them everything Yankee, they laughed and enjoyed my little touch. They would display items and put any ornaments on the Christmas tree every year. It became a tradition for us.
Ethel had a lot of sadness and challenges during her life, but Ethel was a strong Christian woman that helped her through those days and inspiration to her family.
Rest In Eternal Peace!
Love, Laura
