Walter Weldon Wilson passed away at his home in Onalaska, TX on Tuesday December 13, 2022.

He was born on July 23, 1933 in Waxahachie, TX, the youngest of 11 children of Wiley Walter and Lillie May (Briley) Wilson. Known to his co-workers as "Willie," he retired from AT&T and operated an auto repair business from his garage for a short time, eventually focusing on fishing and Astros baseball.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Patsy Olene Booth, and is survived by their children, Randall Wilson (Diann), LaJuana Lattimore, Dewayne Wilson (Leigh), and Patricia Mott (Jon), 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts in memoriam be sent to the Center of Hope Polk County, P. O. Box 1973, Livingston, TX 77351.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023, at 2pm at Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
