Leon G. Speck
Leon Gustave Speck passed away on his 82 birthday, September 28, 2022 in Pasadena, Texas. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Leonard Speck and Elizabeth Armbrust Speck on September 28, 1940. Leon held a college degree, was in the U.S. Army for nine years, and was a Vietnam veteran. He cared deeply for those veterans who were disadvantaged by their disabilities and contributed to the Wounded Warriors Project. He was employed by Vallen Safety Services and retired after many years of service. Leon loved crossword puzzles and always had puzzle books close at hand. He enjoyed football games and watching Jeopardy.

He is survived by his loving wife Wanda, his natural, step and adopted children Richard Woodrome, Pete Woodrome, Kimmie Radmer, Terry Woodrome, Tina Worth, Tonya Woodrome, Roland Speck, Ronnie Speck and Ann Marie Speck-Cox. He is predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Speck, his father Leonard, his daughter Robbie Speck and his stepson Kerry Woodrome.

Leon Speck was a wonderful, loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved his family. He was a hardworking man all his life. Leon, I will always love you and will see you in Heaven, honey. ‘til we meet again,
Love, Wanda

Our sincere gratitude for the care given Leon and for those who honored him with words of comfort and attendance at his memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leon’s name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
