Condolence From: Pam and Jib Schutt
Condolence: Jarrett grew up before our eyes, alongside the “WestSide Gang” kids, on our many trips to the lake, beach, and the woods. He always had a smile on his face and was always looking out for the younger siblings.
More recently, Pam witnessed his ultra competitiveness with a late night card game. We were amazed at what a poised, confident and strong man he became with the completion of a triathlon and the amount of training and self-discipline that took.
You will be forever in our hearts. ❤️

Condolence: Today we celebrate a beautiful soul with a personality larger than life. Jarrett had an infectious smile that lit up the room and a heart of gold that would warm you. I am blessed that I had the pleasure of knowing this amazing young man, and I will treasure all of the wonderful memories.

Sending my heart, prayers and embrace to all of the family and friends,

Jarrett we will miss you...

Condolence From: Clancey Pennington
Condolence: I became friends with Jarrett through my fiancé Cole Jongebloed. As I got to know him, I was so thankful for Cole to have a friend like Jarrett. He always thought of something creative for them to do when they got together and he made himself adaptable to Cole’s work schedule. We would go over to Jarrett’s place to listen to music, tell stories, play fetch with Lola, etc. I swear Jarrett knew every song! That’s how I’ll always remember him.

Condolence From: Shannon Nichols
Condolence: We just moved to town & I think the Bennett’s were some of our first friends. The timing was perfect because Jarrett got Michael into swimming when Michael’s dad & I didn’t know anything about it. Anyone who knows the Bennett’s during swim…we very quickly got an education! Jarrett & Michael were so competitive but only in a good way. They kept each other on their toes & we all had so much fun! As it happens in life, the boys’ interests changed as did our family situation, so we went down different roads. That only means we keep those wonderful times close to our hearts. The boys had a kinship during those years that was exactly what they needed & we all needed, when we needed it. And I will always be grateful.

Condolence From: Kris and Diane Shogren
Condolence: One of our favorite memories of Jarret was when he came over to our home to play with Kody and Konner. We got out the boxing headgear and gloves. Jarrett always had an abundance of energy and he gave it his all. I’ll never forget that determined look on his face. He will be missed!

Love, Kris and Diane

Condolence: Jarrett and I worked closely together at Ferguson for 5 years. Being his go to girl on this inside was always my honor. We became so close, we were like family. I adored him and that contagious laugh of his. Though we only met in person once, we were still so close and had the utmost respect and love for one another. Just speaks to who he was as a person. My heart breaks for his family and my heart is going out to each one of you. Jarrett, you will be missed so very much. I love you always, brother.

Condolence From: Michael Fox
Condolence: Jarrett was one of the first friends I made when I moved to humble/atascocita. We were really good friends for a couple of years. Jarrett was the reason I joined the swim team. He’s the reason I’m a longhorns fan which is kind of funny since he ended up at A & M. We didn’t keep in touch as we got older, probably my fault, but when he was younger that boy was a die hard Texas longhorns fan! He was funny and super competitive and I loved that about him. I wish I would’ve remained in touch with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family.
