Lindsey Gerald (Buck) Holt, 76, of New Caney, TX entered into rest, Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born February 1, 1946 in Houston, TX to William Harold Holt and Allie Bernice Bryant.

Buck is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet Holt of New Caney; son, Michael Holt & wife Kim of New Caney; son, Eric Holt & wife Kara of Laramie Wyoming; Grandsons, Samuel Holt, Seth Holt, Townes Holt & Boone Holt; Granddaughters Anistyn Holt & Delia Holt; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William Holt & Allie Holt; daughter, Amy Holt; brothers, Robert Holt & Richard Holt; sister, Winnie Bowden.

Buck was a retired firefighter of 31 years with the Houston Fire Department. Before his career in the fire department he served 3 years in the Army stationed in Germany. At a young age he started the hobby of painting & putting model cars together. He also loved classic cars, listening to talk radio, reading & watching TV. Even though he had numerous health issues, he still had a love for life. He was a loving husband, Dad & PawPaw!

Buck was a born again Christian & loved our Lord Jesus. He was a member of CT Church & was extremely active in church until he became ill.
