Frances L. Knox “Mom”

Frances L. Knox, who loved to be called “Grandma” departed her loving family and went to rest on September 8, 2022.

Frances was born in LaMesa,TX, May 4, 1938 to Clara Mae Green and Irvin Barnes.

Frances was mother to Clara E. Rosenkrantz, Michelle L.Rivera, and Mary K.Francis. She raised her children and grandchildren with love and devotion in New Caney,TX with her husband, Robert A.Knox.

As a full-time homemaker, Frances was known for her love of family and friends. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, hunting and fishing.

She is survived by her three daughters as well as her grandchildren:
Troy A. Crownover, Maegan B. McFarland, Scott J. Griffiths, and Ryan T Griffiths. Her Brothers /sisters: Joyce Bownds, Milton Gibson Jr., Debra Dean, and George Barnes as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her grandchildren:
Jorge L. and Laura E. Rivera, her brothers/sisters: James Barnes, William
Barnes, and Clara Long.

Services will be held at Greater Faith Church on September 24th at 1pm.
