Ivan Lopez passed away in his sleep at his home from dilated cardiomyopathy August 27, 2022.
At the time of his passing he lived with his mother, and grandmother who he is survived by.
During his most recent years, Ivan was the primary caregiver of his grandma whom he loved
with all his heart.

Ivan was born to his parents Rosa Maria Lopez, and Hector Lopez December 12, 1983 in
Mexico City, Mexico. At the age of five, he moved to Houston, Texas the city he grew to love, be
proud of, and call home.

As years passed, Ivan found himself growing up with his four little cousins whom he taught
everything to, loved with all his heart, and protected. He was always caring, kind, and giving to
anyone who crossed his path whether he knew them or not.

his genuine, funny and loving soul earned him the hearts of those around him, and eventually
had more friends than he could count. He had friends whom he called his second family and
friends online whom he called his online family. He loves video games, cars, lowriders, anime,
and at one point was part of the car club. His creativity even won him first place in a Lowrider
bike competition where he solemnly worked tirelessly on. All those who ever came to know him,
friends, family, even acquaintances, they will all miss him dearly.
