Obituary for Edmon Doak Wilson, Jr.

Edmon Doak Wilson, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Humble, Texas, the town where he was born on January 12, 1935.

He attended Texas A&M on Basketball and Academic Scholarships, and earned

Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Science.

He was a Captain in the US Air Force.

He worked as a Geologist and Engineer, before retiring to his hobby and favorite job as a math professor at Lone Star College for over 30 years.

He is survived by his children, Mark Wayne Wilson, Gail Wilson Gonzales and her husband Robert, Sandra Kay Wilson, and Steven Doak Wilson and his wife Patricia, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends can gather at Rosewood Cemetery at 10:00 am Monday, August 1, for a moment of reflection. A video tribute will be created in lieu of a ceremony. All are invited to send messages, stories, pictures or videos for inclusion by September 15 to kellyrenee.kw@gmail.com
