He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Margaret Maddox; daughter, Tamara Hill; and sisters, Ann Smith and Dorothy Lynn Diece.
He is survived by his beautiful blended family: wife, Barbara Runnels Maddox; daughters, Elizabeth Guess
(husband, Barry) and Teresa Landrum (husband, David); son, David Maddox; grandsons, Michael Dunn, Dawson Maddox, Corbin Maddox, and Matthew Hill ( wife, Rachel); granddaughters, Madison Landrum and Savannah Allredge; Sister-In-Law, Kay Harris; Brother-In
-Law, Pete Runnels; six great-grandchildren; and
numerous nieces and nephews who were like his own. Don also loved his friends and church family as they were his own family.
