Obituary for
Lois Lucille Lundberg (Henry)
Lois Lucille (Henry) Lundberg was born on January 7, 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles Francis Henry and Bertha Fern (Thompson) Henry. She closed her eyes in death at her home in Porter, Texas, and opened them in her heavenly home on June 23, 2022. Even though she is absent from her body, she is present with the Lord. We who are left behind are comforted with the Lord’s promise that our weeping will one day be turned into joy.
On September 3, 1950, Lois married L. Keith Lundberg at Campus Baptist Church in Ames, Iowa. For nearly 72 years, Lois was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will always be remembered for the warmth and comfort of a nurturing home and the simple joy of sharing a home-cooked meal with friends and family around the dinner table. She taught her children to serve others through quiet, unassuming acts of kindness and hospitality.
Lois is survived by her loving husband, three children, eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Keith and Lois’ eldest, Marcia Craig, and her husband Gordon have three children: Erika Whitlock, her husband Jason, and their sons, August, Calvin, and Lincoln; Nathan Craig; and Julie Hall, her husband William, and their children, Evolee and Trevor.
Keith and Lois’ son, Chris Lundberg, and his wife Barbara have two sons: Joshua Lundberg, his wife Jennette, and their children, Noah, Alianna, Rosalie, and Ezekiel; and Matthew Lundberg and his wife Kayla.
Keith and Lois’ youngest, Kurt Lundberg, and his wife Tedra have three children: Kyle Lundberg, his wife Melissa, and their sons, Colton and Carson; Kraig Lundberg, his wife Kate, and their daughter Harper; and Katie Villanueva, her husband Richie, and their children, Devlin and Rynlee.
Lois is being met in heaven by Chris and Barbara’s son, Christopher Keith, and Joshua and Jennette’s son, Isaiah Daniel.
She is also survived by her brother, Dean Henry, and his wife Judith of Nevada, Iowa, along with nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 pm on Thursday, June 30 at Rosewood Funeral Home in New Caney, Texas. The burial service will be in Greenwood Cemetery in York, Nebraska on Saturday, July 2, at 2:00 pm, officiated by Kraig Lundberg. A memorial will also be held at Kingwood Bible Church in Kingwood, Texas: information forthcoming.
