Joyce Ellen Woods was born July 3, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Emzy Franklin Smith and June Wynn Allen. She went to Ross Sterling High School where she graduated in 1969.
Joyce married the love of her life, Randy Woods on November 24, 1971. They had two sons, Steven Woods and Paul Woods.
She was a loving wife of over 50 years, a mother and a Nana. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling with friends, and playing the slot machines. She made everyone she encountered feel special. She had a love for all people and helped everyone she could. She also had a love and special place in her heart for animals. The family would like to thank all of our family and friends for the outpouring of love and support during this time.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Randy Woods, sons, Steven Woods and wife Marissa Woods, son, Paul Woods and wife Jeannie Woods. Grandchildren Jeff Woods and wife Kaitlyn Woods, Hunter Woods, Kiersten Woods, Megan Woods, Madison Woods, Josh Buckalew and Lily Buckalew. Also, her great grandchildren, Bailey, Logan, Walker, Casen and Parker.
Predeceased in death by her father, Emzy Franklin Smith, mother, June Allen and step-father, Elmer Allen and sister, Sharyn Smith.
