Obituary for Jimmy Perales Jr.

On April 25th 2022 Jimmy Perales Jr. gained his wings and went to be with his Lord and Savior at the VA Hospital in Houston TX. His wife, children and family were by his side. Jimmy was born on August 12, 1951 and was from Bay City, TX. He was an Air Force Veteran and was so honored to have served. He had such high respect for the military and all who served as well. Jimmy became a Combination Welder and this was his career for 35+ years after serving in the military. Jimmy's deepest love was for his wife Eleanor Perales, his three sons, grandchildren, great grandchild, siblings, niece's, nephew's, friends and his church family at The Church Triumphant. His greatest passion was attending/serving at his church, playing his guitar, singing for his family, friends and his church family. He was heavily involved with the churche’s Spanish speaking services and the members. He was a great Man of God and has been since the 70’s and was a part of a band that produced a record during this time that consisted of Spanish and English Christian songs.

He is preceded in death by both his parents, Jimmy Perales Sr. and Pauline Delgado Perales. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Eleonar Perales, his three sons Thomas M. Torres and wife Patty Torres, Jimmy Perales III and wife Erica Penry Perales, Christopher Perales, daughter Priscilla Ann Courtney. His grandchildren Ashley Torres, Thomas “Matthew” Torres Jr., Mark Torres, Jamie Torres, Jolie Torres, Gabriel Torres, Clarissa Perales, Valerie Perales, Alexia Perales, Christopher Perales Jr., Idalis Perales, Janice Perales, Evelyn Gonzales and great grandson Grayson Chavez all from Pasadena TX., His siblings are Lorena Perales, Donna Perales, brothers Benito Hernandez, Abel Perales and wife Suzie Perales, Isaac Zepeda and wife Mildred Zepeda all from Bay City TX, with countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jimmy was loved by all and he returned the love to all even more. He is greatly missed but will never be forgotten! His services have been arranged and are as follows.

Visitation Service is Monday May 9th, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm, his Celebration of Life the next day Tuesday May 10, 2022 beginning at 12:00 noon, both being held at his home church, The Church Triumphant at 1030 Strawberry Rd., Pasadena TX 77506 with Pastors Jason Sciscoe and Benny McDonald officiating.

Immediately following Tuesday May 10th services, Jimmy Perales Jr. will be transported for his military graveside burial at Houston National Cemetery at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston TX 77038

Pallbearers are Thomas Torres Sr., Jimmy Perales III., Christopher Perales, Thomas “Matthew” Torres Jr., Mark Torres and Tomas M. Torres III.
