John Thomas Surguy, Jr., better known as Butch passed away suddenly July 30, 2021 surrounded by his family.

He was born to parents John Thomas Surguy, Sr. & Flora Kappe Surguy on April 5, 1947. He graduated from John Foster Dulles Hgh School with honors in 1966.

He is survived by his daughters Mary (Mise) Pasciak and husband Rob and Tracy Lutz, sisters Diann Valenta and husband Raymond and Darlene Lively and husband Tom as well as 4 grandchildren, Mariah, Brinden, Kamryn and Landon.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, John & Flora Surguy, his granddaughter Layni.

John loved his daughters dearly and they loved him with unceasing devotion. He enjoyed his time with them most in life making them laugh with his silly sense of humor, taking fishing trips in Galveston with them, swimming at grandma & grandpa’s house, showing them all of the places he spent his childhood, making wonderful memories and listening to music!

A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park, 2602 S. Houston Avenue Humble, Tx. 77396 on August 9, 2021.
