Condolence: Tom and I knew Vicki and Kerry since our children were small and played together. The most outstanding attributes we saw from both of them was their gentleness and kindness. Our relationship really matured through the Joy of Living Bible Study where I came to know Vicki as a strong prayer warrior. Together we prayed for many things not the least of which was our children as they became adults. I especially remember Vicki's caring prayers for me when my father died and her personal prayer with Candi and Michael before their wedding. Even though circumstances and our move away from Kingwood have separated us in the last few years, Vicki was a part of my life and a treasured friend. We know they are both with the Lord where there is no sickness nor tears; vibrant and joyful for eternity.
Condolence: Newlyweds moving to Humble, Texas from Long Island, New York and our next door neighbors were Vicki and Kerry Roper. They showed Tom and I how to handle the life style in a small town, especially when we went on a family camp out.
Condolence: Vicki and I always shared a special lunch together, which often lasted for a few hours, whenever I'd visit my Kingwood family. It didn't matter if I was living in Canada, we always felt a close bond throughout the years and despite the miles. We could chat, email, and never miss a beat. I consider Vicki my sister in Christ and I know my visits to Kingwood will never be the same. I miss you already Vicki, your sweet, caring smile and wise, encouraging words of support. But I know your absence is only temporary. I'll see you later my dear friend. I know you're rejoicing with Kerry, painting your lil heart out, in Jesus' tender embrace. How great Thou art!
